Common questions
- Why custom tuning instead of a flash tune?
- Flash tunes are generic files written for a 'typical' car. Custom tuning means we build your map from scratch on our dyno, adjusting for your specific engine, mods, altitude, and fuel. The result is more power, better drivability, and safer AFRs — because we're tuning YOUR car, not a template.
- Is the FA24 reliable with more power?
- Very. The FA24 is stronger than the FA20 it replaces. With proper tuning and quality parts, these engines handle significant power increases reliably. The key is conservative tune targets and quality supporting mods.
- Will this void my warranty?
- Modifications can affect warranty coverage on related components. RZ Stage 1 is the safest starting point for newer cars — bolt-on parts that can be reversed if needed.
- Can I upgrade to RZ Stage 2 later?
- Yes. RZ Stage 2 adds flex fuel capability — your intake and headers carry over, you just need the fuel system upgrades and a re-tune. You're not wasting money starting here.
- How long will my car be with you?
- Same day or overnight. Inspection, hardware install, live tuning session, final validation runs, and road test.
