Why the HKS turbo kit specifically?

HKS has been developing turbo kits for the 86/BRZ platform since launch. Their GT supercharger and turbo kits are proven, well-engineered, and designed to work with the factory ECU via EcuTek. Reliability and drivability are built in.

Do I need to upgrade my clutch?

Yes. The stock clutch can't handle 100+kW gains reliably. RZ Stage 3 includes an upgraded clutch kit rated for the power level. This is non-negotiable for a build that'll last.

Will my engine handle this power?

The FA20 bottom end is robust and handles RZ Stage 3 power levels on a properly tuned setup. We've done many of these builds. The key is quality tuning and supporting mods — which are all included.

Why single fuel tune instead of flex?

At RZ Stage 3 power levels, we recommend picking one fuel and optimizing for it. Most customers run 98 for convenience. Flex fuel is available as an add-on if you want E85 capability.

How long does the build take?

Typically 1.5 weeks. We'll give you a timeline during the consultation. You'll get progress updates and photos throughout.
