Common questions
- What's the difference between RZ Stage 1 and RZ Stage 2?
- RZ Stage 1 is a tune only — software optimisation with no hardware changes. RZ Stage 2 adds bolt-on performance parts (intake, intercooler, j-pipe) that free up airflow and cooling, allowing for significantly more gains with a custom tune.
- Do I need RZ Stage 1 first?
- No. RZ Stage 2 includes everything from RZ Stage 1 (EcuTek licence, custom tune) plus all the hardware. You can go straight to RZ Stage 2.
- Why these specific parts?
- Process West and Invidia are proven on the FA24 turbo platform. Australian-designed intercooler and intake from Process West, paired with Invidia's high flow catted j-pipe — quality construction, reliable gains, and they work together seamlessly.
- Will the high flow cat trigger a check engine light?
- We tune out any CEL issues related to the high flow cat. The tune includes proper O2 sensor calibration so you won't have any warning lights.
- How long will my car be with you?
- Typically 2-3 days. Day 1: inspection and hardware install. Day 2-3: dyno tuning, road tuning, and final validation.
