- How much does a GR6 transmission rebuild cost?
- Depends on what's needed. A clutch pack replacement costs significantly less than a full rebuild. After diagnosis we'll give you a written quote with no surprises.
- How long will my R35 be off the road?
- Depends on the work. Clutch pack replacement is a few days. A full rebuild takes longer. We'll confirm timing once we've diagnosed your box and ordered any parts needed.
- My GR6 is shuddering — does it need a rebuild?
- Not necessarily. Shuddering can come from contaminated transmission fluid, low clutch pressure, or worn clutch packs. We diagnose before quoting work. Sometimes a fluid service and adaptation reset clears it up.
- Do you work on R35s from regional Victoria?
- Yes. We see R35 owners from across Melbourne and regional Victoria. We're at 8-10 Molan St, Ringwood VIC — easy access from EastLink and the Eastern Freeway.
- Do you offer a warranty on your work?
- Yes. We warranty our parts and labour on all GR6 work. The factory warranty side depends on your car's age and history. We'll cover that in writing before any work starts.
- Can I tow my R35 to you?
- Yes. We can arrange transport if your R35 isn't drivable. Or come in via tow truck directly. Call ahead so we can have a bay ready.
