Why the HKS GTIII-800 turbo kit specifically?

HKS has been building the GTIII series for the R35 since the platform launched. We've fitted them, tuned them, and stand behind them. The kit is engineered for the symmetrical VR38 layout and works through EcuTek with the factory ECU.

What power can this build make?

Stage 3 typically picks up +120-150kW at the hubs over stock with our standard supporting mods. The GTIII-800 kit itself is rated for around 800ps at the crank with the right fuel and supporting hardware. Our biggest R35 on this kit made 512kW at the hubs.

Why no flex fuel in the base package?

Most builds run 98 RON because it's everywhere. We tune for that and get the most out of it. Flex fuel is available as an add-on if you want E85 capability with automatic ECU switching between fuels.

How long does the build take?

2-4 weeks depending on parts availability and complexity. We'll confirm timing when you book. You'll get photos and updates as we go.

Turbo Kit

HKS GTIII-800 Full Turbine Kit

Direct-fit twin turbo replacement for the symmetrical VR38 layout. Larger compressor wheels, cast exhaust manifold, twin wastegates. Engineered for 800ps with the right supporting mods.

Intercooler

HKS R-Type Intercooler

Larger core and end tanks to handle the increased airflow from the GTIII-800 kit. Drops intake temps under sustained boost and keeps the tune consistent.

Exhaust

HKS Catback Exhaust

Completes the exhaust system from the midpipe back. Sized for the increased flow of the GTIII-800 kit.

Supporting Mods

Fuel system + ignition

Upgraded injectors, fuel system, and spark plugs. Stock parts run out of capacity well before the new turbos do. All sized to handle the GTIII-800's demands.

Plan & book

We'll get back to you, answer questions, and confirm the package is right for your car. Once it's locked in we take a deposit and organise a drop-off date.

Install, tune & handover

Your car comes in, parts go on, and it goes straight onto the dyno for a custom tune built from scratch. We road test, verify everything, and hand it back with dyno sheets.
